Big thick hairclip for my big thick head..

..of hair. Ok this is a bizarre one but I am at my wits end. I have v. thick hair, every hairdresser comments on it as if I would not have realised already. I had a beloved big hairclip or big clit as it was affectionately known but left it behind in the hospital during a stressful getting my catheter out moment 10 days after dd was born. Where can I get a really big hairclip?

I know what you are after, I could do with one too, you just have to look hard. John Lewis may do then but they won't be very fancy across the bar.

Hi, yes I did call it a big clit. It seemed very funny at the time. I would continually ask dp where my big clit was, I am sure we got some funny looks.

Colour wise - I used to have a gorgous blue one but I suppose black is the safe option. Have tried JL as that is where the 'Big Clit' came from (See I am laughing as I write this, I am warped and an unfit mother) but no luck. Will try friends in Spain. Thanks.

Hi pesme, I found some hairclips specifically for thick hair in Claire's Accessories. I thought I had thick hair but they slid out of mine. They aren't the best quality but they aren't too expensive either. Hope you find one.

independant chemists have lots. I found one called Grip It also tesco had some for thick hair. Have you tried going into an afro hair shop?
