chelle,

is this what you're looking for?

I'm not recommending them, particularly, but found this site by googling!

welcome to Mumsnet, btw. I recognise your name from UKP. I think we've bought/ sold from each other but can't remember what!

Thanks Tissy,

I've already got one of those pre-natal listeners for when I had DS and didn't rate them that much as the sounds a bit muffled.

I'm after one something like this really, like the midwives use to hear the heartbeat:-

Thanks. Chelle x

crumbs! you must need a lot of reassurance! I've had a look at a few medical equipment sites, and the cheapest I've found so far is £195 and I doubt if that includes VAT and carriage. Looks as if the company you've found is quite reasonable.

I got mine on Ebay - for £175.00 plus carriage.

It is the PD1 which has the display for the heartrate. (I can't do links but the seller was 'Dopplermike' And I received it amazingly fast) I recommend it completely, we used it from 10 weeks, (I'm 14 now) and it is a godsend. You can sell it on ebay 2nd hand, I have seen them go for £150=

I can find both heartbeats relly fast now (twins), within 30 seconds or so.
I don't rate the cheaper £40 one either, could never find ds's heartrate, not even at 30 odd weeks.
