Bouncy chair reccomendation

I have been asked by my freind to buy a bouncy chair for her new baby due in May and was wondering if anyone could reccommend one. Mine is ok but wondered if there where any better ones out there. I would spend up to £40 if it was a good one that was worth it.

I have a great chair. It is by East Coast and has a vibrating function. My little girl loves it and is asleep in it right now!

the safety first one from john lewis is about 40 quid and we found it great for our ds

We had a second hand epensive one for dd1 which was rubbish - she hated it. For dd2 we've got a cheapo mothercare one [about £10] and its fantastic - dd2 loves it and its light and easy to take apart and clean! Expensive iss not always better except for handbags and shoes!

I had a great Casdon one for DS2, which was reduced from £20 - £5!
It had a little toybar thing & was nicely padded. DS2 spent lots of time in there & it was the best baby buy ever!

Well said mamado . Obviously I would spend the money on something else for them so if cheaper is better then that suits too

Thanks for help so far. Does anyone have any of those ones with the rocker bottoms or the backs with several positions?

I had two rocker type chairs - one which was multi positions & the other was not, but I didn't buy it until DS2 was 3 months old, so he had more head control.
The reclining one was great for when they were tiny, as it laid totally flat.

I just bought a safety 1st bouncer from Kiddicare online and it was reduced from 39.99 to 14.99 - bargain. Just hope my little beanie likes in when they put in an appearance in the summer.

Cheers for that info I purchased the same chair. It arrived today when my friend was here and she really liked it
