johnsons holiday stuff! why do i look like a zebra!!!

i bought that johnsons holiday moisturisor from boots yeterday- it was buy one get one free... i've never used fake tan before but i did everything i thought i was suppoed to, exfoliated, especially knee, elbows etc.... i woke this morning to find i look like a zebra, patchy, streaky and i absolutly stunk!!! what did i do wrong? and what can i do to get rid of this? so far i haven't left the house yet!

Toothpaste - the old-fashioned white stuff. Strange but true.
I had the same problem with the stuff - a friend gave it to me saying it was just like a moisuriser so I slarted it on and went orange. That's where I learned the toothpaste trick...

how does toothpaste help? (I have the streaky problem too)

I don't really know but it did - particuraly on knees, elbows etc. Otherwise try a handful of table salt mixed with baby oil as a scrub.
Or don't leave the house for a week

The Dove one smells much nicer...
