Tall family/Car choice

We are needing to replace our car. We want to buy a car now that will see us through the next 10 years of kids at home. DH is 6'7" I am 6'1" We have a DD aged 14 who is 6'2" and may grow a little taller. We have DS aged 12 who is 5'5" and projected to be same height as DH and we have DD aged 10 who is likely to be approx 6' tall.
We need a car that is comfortable for long journeys as we drive to Germany/Austria to see family. We also have a dog.
Any tall familys with suggestions. Oh...and we also would like a 7 seater as often have extras on board.
Our current car is a Renault grand scenic and has been great but the recent models have storage between front 2 seats which gives limited leg room to the child in middle seat. We currently have a nice space between front seats which enable me to travel home from scotland with a broken leg by sitting in middle at the back with leg fully extended and raised between front 2 seats!
We have tried a few and unfortunately although the Alhambra looked good, DH did not find it comfortable to test drive.
Currently DH favourite option is Ford Tourneo Grand which is great value for money but a bit basic and a bit of a van (but maybe with the need for headroom that's the price you have to pay)
Any experience/suggestions welcome. Thanks

Would a bmax have enough height in it? They are a bit taller.
Probably volvo though. My mum is 6 2 and has always driven a volvo.

Hi

Have just posted a thread about small car for my 6'4" son.

We have a 7 sweater Hyundai Sante Fe which has loads of headroom. My 6'6" brother also has the same model and finds it pretty comfortable to drive with good visibility.

Hope this helps.

Seater - not sweater!!

Also, it's quite luxurious with heated seats front and back (cooled seats in front), panoramic electric sunroof, SAT NAV etc, parking assist, plus separately controlled air con in the large boot for the dog!!

We aren't all quite as tall, but dc1 has some very tall (and broad!) friends, and we do a lot of driving holidays.

We have a Ford Galaxy. For us the main reason to choose it was that it has 7 adult seats plus masses of boot space.

The tall members of the family and dc's tall friends are all comfortable in all of the seats.

Father 6f7 and do 6f3 we have a Nissan qashqi for comfort and a seat Mii for round town

The Mii has so much more head room than most cars inches to spare and no hair rubbing on roof line, and father doesn’t have to put the seat all the way back in the rails to drive
