Hi Everyone

Will be the mother of a PFB in August so probably too early to even be thinking about this but have been looking at the Bugaboo. Am i just being an over excited impractical first timer or are they actually any good? Alternative suggestions welcome too.

depends entirely on your lifestyle

Very good if you walk everywhere and/or have a large boot - their natural habitat seems to be urban rather than rural - but if you think you may ever need to fold it one-handed whilst holding child and shopping (eg to get on a bus) get something else as the Bug just won't do this.

I watched a family deal with theirs whilst queuing for the London Eye and, no kidding, it took three of them - one to hold the baby, one the chassis and one the seat.

most people i know (so can't say first hand) bought a bugaboo.
by 1 year old, ALL had switched to a lightweight cheaper buggy
think they're brill in "pram" mode, but in buggy mode, they're heavy and bulky...

and when you have no.2 you'll buy a phil & ted's anyway. just get one now and save yourself a fortune!
