Are Alcatel mobile phones any good?

Woolworths have a good deal on an Alcatel C635 mobile phone and I am thinking of buying one, but have not really heard of Alcatel before. Are they any good? At the moment it is a toss up between this one, or the Motorola V235 - both are about £30 PAYG.

I had one and it was ok. I only replaced when I broke the screen. Some of the screens are small though.
