SYLVANIAN FAMILIES...WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THOSE FIDDLY LTTLE BITS

DD1, just turned 5, loves them, and has been given lots of the sets eg sweet shop, garden set, over the last year. trouble is, i find that its so for her to lose the pieces. am trying to get her to take more care, but anyone got any storage ideas for them?

also, do your dcs actually play with the sets as intended or do they find them too fiddly? do you have a big dolls house or similar, for all the figures/bits?

Tiny bits (flower, buckets etc) empty ice cream tub. Rest lives in the canal barge.
They are too fiddly for dd a lot of the time (she is 4) but she loves them and won't grow out of them too quickly.

My hoover bag must be full of teeny weeny shoes, bars of soap, spoons etc. Tidy DD1 keeps everything tidy in one of the boxes they came in, messy DD2 is gradually losing them all despite the lidded box I gave her to keep them in.

It's a temperament thing

ive had a good idea, but its too late for us...wish i'd cut out the pics from the box they came in, and stuck it to the front of a tupperware box.
