Booster seats for Audi A4 Avant SE - can you help?!!

Hope you can help - We've an Audi A4 Avant SE and a DD who's 5 and has been sitting on a booster cushion only. Decided that she would be safer on the whole seat and not just the bottom bit so added the back today. Only thing is that it puts her in a very strange position because of the head supports on the car and I feel that the seat we have prevents the seat belt from retracting. We currently have a Maxi-Cosi Rodi.

Does anyone have a really good seat that they can recommend or a link to one of those websites that recommends one for your car? I can't seem to find either at the moment!! Thanks for your help...

We use a Rodi in our Scenic but remove the adult headrest so it fits more snugly against the seat. Could you do same or put the adult headrest into its highest postion if that clears the top of the Rodi seat back ? We don't seem to have any such problem with the belt itself.

Not sure if it is any help poppysead but we have a Audi A4 convertible and use a Graco booster seat with DD - not sure what model it is but has a back to it and little cup holders at the front that can be pulled out.

I use Graco Junior plus carseats in my Audi A4. The same one as Twinkie has described. And they fit really well. Get them at Halfords, cheaper there.

Excellent Thanks to the three of you!!
Smellymelly and Twinkie - do you have any trouble with the seat belt retracting with the Graco?

we have been using the graco junior for 2 months now. we have had no problems with it, seat belt fine too.
(the only problem is it is not as comfy for sleeping in as his previous seat was...which his little sister now has!!)

Gloworm - assume you have an Audi? Thanks for the recommendation - will try a price match now for the seat....

can you go to a halfords...they can fit the car seat to your car so that you can make absolute sure there are no problems with seat belt etc
