thick black tights for a 3-4 yo??

i only have boys so ive no idea where to get these from, any ideas?

the ds's are going to a pirate party and need to be dressed up. pirate costumes sorted for the 7, 2 and 1yo's.. but the 3yo wants to be a cat. a ships cat, he explains. anyway, i have a black cat costume thing that i got in sainsburys at halloween last year... but need a bottom half solution..

i never seem to find them in woolies, or sainsburys or m&s or mothercare... maybe im not looking hard enough

I have used the smallest ladies 40 denier and crinkle cut the bottoms at the ankles with sharp scissors, you know in a zig zag style. Put some black plimsoles on and aha jim lad, you are ready.

hmmmm, interesting solution there tenalady...part ships cat, part pirate... may save him from being teased for wearing a 'girls' costume too, great!

Mothercare usually have them, or least the ones that sell school-uniform type clothing do.

will keep looking then. (i did think id find them in places like that, just must've had bad luck so far)
