Bought a car 2 months ago and it doesn't suit me!

I have 3 kids and when my 7 seater died I had to buy a new car quite quickly.

I thought I'd get a 5 seater as there was no longer the issue with car seats etc but it just isn't working for me as I can't have anyone else in it with us.

I bought it from a Ford dealership, would it be very odd of me to go back in and see if I can exchange it for something else? Is that even possible in anyone's experience?

Of course it's possible, they'll welcome you with open arms. Won't be cheap though!

It was a £6000 deposit with £4000 on finance. I'll have to check the terms to see what the early exit fee is.

I essentially want to re finance the £4000, so sort of transfer the loan

I expect they'll offer you £7k for your car, with a finance settlement of approx £3.5k, leaving you with £3.5k as the deposit on a different car
