She's been asking for one for a year now and her birthday is coming up so we're thinking of buying her one of these. Has anyone used either one and can you tell me what you think of it? TA!

We got our 10 yo dd a vivitar camera for christmas. It's a different style to the one in your link but has the same features I think (might be older version as we got it from ebay - someone's unwanted gift). Anyway, great success, very easy to use and dd got the hang of it straight away. It actually takes nicer photos than my Kodak one that dh paid quite a lot for. HTH

I bought that Vivitar one for ds2 for christmas and the picture quality was really crap! Very fuzzy and either too light or too dark. My camera with less Megapixels takes clearer pictures.
My ds2 was so unhappy with it i ended up taking it back and getting a refund.

I would say spend more and get a better one. I don't know what the other one is like.

Ds2 is 7 btw.

Thanks, I'll maybe go for the other one.
