Wireless broadband.... Do I HAVE to go through my telephone service provider????

Im sick of these wires trailing around my laptop, really want wireless but looking at VIrgins website, I can only continue with my broadband through a cable/modem link.

Looking at Skys website ( who I have my tv service through, I have to change my phone over to them to get wireless.

Help please!!!

no plenty of bb providers you can buy wireless yourself..router between 35.00 and 125.00

d link do a good one plug and go for 60.00

I use UK Online. £19.99 a month for 8mb BB and they chuck in a free wifi modem. Great service as well.

you don't have to switch your phone to sky to get wireless broadband. they offer a full package including phone but they also offer just sky and broadband.
