Car insurance please help me out!

Hi everyone!

I am due to take my new car home from the garage today and I have to have fully comprehensive insurance before it can leave the garage. However, I have my test coming up. Can anyone explain to me how I go about swapping from learners insurance to full licence insurance if I do hopefully pass.

Will I have to buy out the learner insurance before I can insure it fully?

You can have comprehensive insurance while you are a learner.

Once you pass your driving test you phone up the Insurance company to tell them you have passed. They will change your records, and possibly charge you more!
