Shoe Dye - any recommendations?

I've never used any before but am thinking of dyeing some mid blue shoes black.

Has anyone done this - can you recommend a product?

I have! I dyed my suede shoes some time ago. I used Angelus Brand Suede Dye for it and I think I still have some left overs of it. It turned out to be better than I expected and no one actually realized that they were dyed.
