have just finished decorating ds's bedroom but the largest sealed unit in the window is full of condensation and we can't afford to replace it atm. the windows are old anyway so would prefer to wait and get them all done at the same time. want to put up a net curtain to hide the mess, anyone got nets up using tension rods, do they work or do they just keep falling down?

As long as you don't touch them - they're fine In my experience, they don't work in kids rooms, as they are more likely to be pulled around.

If you put it in tight enough it should be ok.We have one to hang nets at our patio doors(about 7ft long) and it been fine, even with the cats pulling on the curtains.

we've had them for years with no problem - and we have a cat who likes to fight his way through them to look out of the window
