Sorry yet another buggy thread
DD is 4 months old and I want a pushchair/buggy rather than the travel system I have.
Am looking for easy to fold, lightweight, doesn't take up the whole hall when folded, fairly decent quality on a smallish budget. These three are the ones I have narrowed it down to.... has anyone got any of these? Any opinions?
Thanks

I have recently bought the maclaren techno after using a graco travel system. I am really happy with it, it's much lighter, takes up much less room in the car boot and 8mo dd seems to like it too. So thumbs up from me.

i use a maclaren techno XT...

TBH it really annoys me. while it would NOT be as comfy for a little baby i MUCH prefer a maclaren volo (or even a quest or triumph)

would NEVER get a techno XT for my own children. I find it too heavy, and the large wheels mean its a faff to get in my car,(a clio) where as those with smaller wheels fit much more easily in the boot of the car!

Another vote for the XT. Had one for four years; it saw HEAVY daily use and never whimpered. Watch out for the brakes though, they tend to break easily.

have a techno xt, have found it great. Has squeaked its way through 4 plus years, thats my fault for being " just too busy to find the wd40". Its reasonably light but robust, and has survived a complete kicking by my last 2 kids who have been giant babies!!!

i have the pop and love it- it looks stylish, the brakes are far better imo than the techno and its much cheaper. You can also buy the accesories as you need them ie if you don't need the footmuff/ newborn support etc you don't have to get it where as the techno is a package deal!
Steer clear of the combi- although it eventually folds really small you need a degree in origami to fold it especially one handed whilst holding the baby!

if she's 4mo, why not a Quest rather than the Techno? Not quite as cosy I admit but cheaper and lighter.

Nearly lol at origami degree! I watched the movie on kiddicare and see what you mean!
Thanks for all your help, off to look at the quest and to further consider the pop, its a bit expensive, but looks ideal........hmmm!
