Are these worth all the money?

Also do the wooden ones need to be set in concrete?

Hi,

You are not exact in your question, but as a mother of three boys I will tell you my views on garden toys.

It is nice for kids to have ssomething to play on when the weather is good.
We have had one of those tiny trampolenes for little ones. My 4 year old still loves it. They are not expensive and you get about 3 years out of them.(My other two boys are now 13 and 10).
the rockers are also a great toy is you have more than one child. Again not expensive.

the TP climbing frames...worth its weight in gold! I have a metal one and admittidly it is now past its best, but it has lasted a good 12 years or so! It gets hard wear and we do not have the legs in cement.
the bog wooden ones do have to be anchored. I think in cement. You get instructions with them and Im sure you can look them up online. Swings definately have to be anchored!
We also had a shed/playhouse. again worth its weight in gold. With a few itchen things and table and small chairs it is a house, a shop, a cafe....whatever they want it to be.

A paddling pool and sand pit are also great additions for variety.
I would say the climbing frame is the best and worth having. It takes the bounce out of them as well as teaching things such as co ordination and so on, plus more kids can play on it at the same time.
Does this help at all?!

Hi pennies. We shelled out on a TP sherwood last summer and it is FAB. Doesn't need concrete, it is fixed to the ground with long metal pegs called 'ground anchors', which are driven into the earth and attached to the legs. I choes this model because the size means it will last the children until they are in their teens, there are so many different options for layouts and swings, and it doesn't look too bad either.
