Lotties green and white gingham pj's are LOVELY.
Maybe that's becasue she's in them though!!!!
No seriously, no complaints here on quality of said pj's.

I've ordered quite a bit from them and have always been happy. I do seem to remember that I returned some gingham bed linen as the pillowcases were a different shade to the duvet cover. I would stick to plain white/cream or if it for children then the embroidered bedding is fab. The pjs and nighties are good too. Postage is quick and they are very helpful too.

We've ordered lots from them, clothes and bedding - only problems we've had have been in sales times when wrong items often seem to get sent, or website will say in stock when in fact completely sold out. Never any problems with quality (or other things like delivery, politeness of sales staff, etc.).

tamum · 03/07/2004 17:04

We've got a fair bit from them- good quality in general, very slow delivery indeed (held up by one item being out of stock, but no word from them for 3 weeks until I hassled them). I would happily use them again as long as I wasn't in a hurry. Luckily they're opening a shop here next month, hurrah

Excellent IMO. Ds's pjs are all from there and are a lovely thick cotton.

noddy5 · 03/07/2004 17:14

takes forever to come but I ordered a dressing gown once and it was and still is lovely and v good quality

prettycandles · 03/07/2004 17:23

ds's shorty PJs are very good quality indeed (the stripey jersey fabric ones), the animal-print jersey ones seem slightly lighter-weight but also good, but his stripey toweling dressing-gown could be more robust (threads keep pulling out of it). We got some pure wool blankets which are absolutely fabulous.

But I only ever buy in the sales!

Their quality is great but they are pretty expensive. I went in at the weekend looking for bedlined for dd and even in the sale single duvet covers were £36 upwards and then £11 for a pillowcase........
In Peter Jones (J Lewis) I got duvet cover, Pillowcase and cushion cover set for £40, also in nice cotton.
I do buy White Company stuff for us in the sale though (selfish, moi?).

I agree with lisalisa - I bought their easy care bed linen that should not need ironing and it looks a mess ! I did find the delivery time was really quick though. I am debating whether to buy us all a new toweling dressing gown from them.

katierocket · 03/07/2004 18:01

the pjs are good and I've washed them about 500 hundred times

Millie1 · 04/07/2004 00:09

Thanks everyone ... it's the bedlinen I'm thinking of buying but am worried about the creasing now ... ironing a duvet cover for a 6' bed does not appeal! Maybe the waffle stuff would be okay? Still, that said, I think I'll buy their PJ's for DS come the winter cos they're one of the few places to do nice ones without transfers all over them!! Am off to their website now ...

We have a white blanket from there- its lovely!

OldieMum · 04/07/2004 00:19

We have one of their waffle duvet covers. We never iron it and it looks fine.

Don't forget to access them via mumsnet (button on right of home page)

YOu can get all the summer sale stuff and mumsnet get a small commission as well!

Millie1 · 04/07/2004 00:36

Thanks for that tip ... just discovered sale and am busy loading up my basket!!

Just to say that I used them for a christmas present and it didn't arrive in time but they refunded in full so I second the 'slow delivery' point made earlier
