Is two under two in a Vauxhall Corsa possible?

DS will be about 21 months when bump hopefully arrives. We currently have a Loola, which although I love, doesn't allow for much else in the boot. Are there are twin/tandems that will fit? Plus obviously there will be two car seats so we will have to be picky about our passengers.

Any comments?

Vauxhall corsa boots are crap at double buggies. They DO fit 2 child car seats and one passenger.

We are in the process of getting rid of our Corsa - thank GOD! It was so unreliable.

I have a 3 door corsa and you will be fine fitting two carseats in the back. You could fit a passenger in as well, but as VVV says, the boots are crap. I have trouble fitting my single buggy and some shopping in. You would probably be able to fit a double in without the parcel shelf, but you wouldn't get anything else in unless you artfully slotted it around the pushchair.

agreed. i got rid of mine when ds arrived, due to lack of boot space

We have had a Maclaren twin in the boot of our corsa (55), a phil and teds (with doubles kit), a mountain buggy and a nipper - obviously not all at the same time!! To fit the Maclaren in though we had to take the parcel shelf out, and you won't get much else in the boot.

As far as car seats goes, we currently have a maxi cosi priori and a britax hi liner. Have had the priori and a britax infant carrier in as well. Lots easier with a five door than with a three, I'd imagine.

I'm trying to work out whether we can get three car seats in the back!!!

I haven't got a Corsa but have a Fiesta which also has a very small boot.I looked everywhere for a double buggy and ended up buying a Marco Sky which is about the only thing that will fit...with the parcel shelf taken out.

I have a Yaris which is a similar size to corsa but the seats move forward so the boot can be bigger. No buggies though we fitted masses in to go on holiday!

Cool. I admit to carrying a lot of rubbish around in the boot - it's the 'Brownie - be prepared' thing. I suspect I probably won't need my snowstorm/heatwave/breakdown/any medical emergency kit when popping to Tesco...
I don't mind the Corsa, does what it says on the tin. But I would really prefer side by side twin, Nipper or similar so will do some measuring and pruning of emergency kit. Or commandere DH ginormous Avensis estate.
Thanks

well i manage 4 children, a double buggy (phil&teds e3) and so much rubbish (aka important stuff for random, any event u could conceivably imagine / emergancies etc ) actually i whole BIG plastic box of this 'stuff' + loads more that doesnt fit in it in a clio (, so im sure bearing that in mind 2 in a corsa cant be that impossible
