CAn someone please look at this and tell me if they think it will be okay (buggy board question)

I have a black lascal buggy board I bought off a MNer, and it's missing the arm bits - not the actual arms but the thick bits you can adjust - not the clippy bits at the bottom of the picture, but the thicker tube-y looking bits above them.

Do you think it will be okay without?

The thick tubes attached to the metal poles that attach the board to the buggy - they adjust the size etc. Mine is missing them - I was wondering if they provide any kind of additional support?

oh, you mean; can you just use it anyway without them?

my guess would be yes... trying to remember how it worked (only used one for a bit ages ago)... i would try and and keep an eye out for a bit; watch how it it going up and down kurbs and the like...
