Bad back - need a comfortable medium sized car. Help needed!

Please help me lovely people.

My DS is a HCP and has a long commute. He also has a bad back which isn't helped by his uncomfortable car.

Can anyone recommend a car with lumbar support seat which is medium sized, hatchback, petrol and not too high insurance group. He'll probably be buying second hand and paying £5000 maybe a bit more.
