Hi

I am currently expecting baby number 2 and will have a 20/21 month age gap so after much debate have decided to buy a P & T pushchair. The baby is due at the end of April and I cant decide whether I should get the cocoon as it looks quite padded and I worry it may be too hot for the baby. Has anyone got the cocoon and do you think its worth buying for the summer months (if the baby has been due in winter I probably would just buy it).

Would I be better getting the footmuff which I can use like a buggy liner in the summer then use as a footmuff come the winter?

My DS was born in june 2005 and i found the cocoon really useful as he just lay in it and it didn't really make him hot, the padding doesn't really impact on them, it is just around the outsides. It was really useful carrying him around in, and iwould recommned buying it.

I've just started using mine and agree with DarrellRivers, it doesn't make the baby hot as it's too big to snuggle baby into. In this weather I am wrapping baby up in a blanket before putting her in the cocoon, but I'd be happy to use it in the summer with baby in lighter clothes.
