Mothercare Phoenix tandem-anyone advise?

Db due in a few weeks and ds 2 will be 23 months. Saw the Phoenix today and it looks quite smart in black and red and seemed quite light to push (though it was empty!). Does anyone have one who can advise.Oh, other plus factor is being able to use as a travel system with car seat.

TIA

not sure about this one but have used tandems in the past and they were a nightmare. really heavy to steer and bump up kerbs. this is why i was a bit unsure of the kiwi explorer but it has been a dream. i would get this if you can or a urban detour double. my friend lent me hers for a while and it was really easy to push and you could get loads of stuff in it as well. hth

Thanks. Could do with losing some weight after db arrives so maybe not a bad choice . Will look into the others you have mentioned. it's difficult trying to decide b/w tandem and side by side as some rave about one type and some the other.
