... various sizes, the bigger the better, preferably not eye-wateringly expensive.

I'd also like a box frame suitable for my wedding shoes and another for my tiara please. I need to finally dig them out of the shed and do something with them, they are so beautiful

We've got fairly chunky oak photo frames on our wedding list at debenhams.

hoxtonchick · 28/02/2007 20:45

ikea (dull but true)

NomDePlume · 28/02/2007 20:46

Oh Hoxty, pleeeeeeeeeeeease don't make me go to Ikea [world-weary emoticon]

I got some fab square ones from Habitat about 7 years ago, I doubt they do them anymore

Have a look in TK Maxx (regularly!) - they have lots of photo frames, different shapes & styles.

hoxtonchick · 28/02/2007 21:35

ikea has to be better than t k maxx . actually, i shop at both regularly!

JanH · 28/02/2007 21:36

You think, hoxty??? I love TKMaxx, it's so completely and utterly random!

hoxtonchick · 28/02/2007 22:25

i do love tkm, i'm a sucker for a bargain.

NomDePlume · 28/02/2007 22:26

ikea means a nightmare trip on the motorway

NDP - try these people - they are really nice. Not as cheap as Ikea, by any means, but I bet they will last longer!

Tamum · 28/02/2007 22:36

There's a shop at the top of our road that sells lots of lovely ones just like that, but that's not wildly handy for you, I realise. If you can't find any let me know and I will go and take stalker-like pictures of them and you can see if you like them

NomDePlume · 28/02/2007 22:37

Oh, they look lovely exbury. The prices are good too

lol tamum, edinburgh is a bit of a trek for me, yes

Tamum · 28/02/2007 22:39

Heal's do them but don't know if they're chunky enough?

JanH · 28/02/2007 22:40

Oh NdP, go - make a weekend of it, and meet tamum and her lovely family too

NomDePlume · 28/02/2007 22:41

those are nice too tamum. It'd be helpful if they told you what the actual sizes were though, rather than just stating "Small", "Medium" & "Large"

The service seems good too - my order arrived in 2 days even though I had chosen the cheapest shipping option. I have just ordered some more.

The make to measure wizard thing is really confusing, though - you will have to double-check at the end of the process that you have the size you wanted.

JanH · 28/02/2007 22:42

4x6, 5x7 and 8x5?

JanH · 28/02/2007 22:43

No, 8x10!!!

Tamum · 28/02/2007 22:43

Hmm, that is rather crap, isn't it. They do helpfully state that there are three sizes...

Mwah Janh

NomDePlume · 28/02/2007 22:45

I'll have a ponder over these and come back in the morning. Beddy-bye-byes for me.
