Ergo carriers - how do you carry your 'stuff'

I need a new way of lugging DS's belongings (nappies, toys, bottle/ cup, snacks, my purse etc) around when I use the Ergo - I have been using a record bag type thing and it is a pain!

How do other people manage?
I was wondering about getting the Ergo Ergo Back Pack or 'front pouch' (which looks suspciously like a bumbag to me) but I am not convinced. Any suggestions?

I had both but the back pack is impossible to access on your own if kiddie on your back. I used front pouch for purse, keys etc that I needed to access a lot and sewed a very simple wee bag with a buckle to attach to the ties at the side for other things - (juice cup etc) and only really used backpack thing for nappies and wipes-anything hard and biggish will dig into their back.

DH - sorry not much help!

I was wondering that about the backpack - I don't think I'll get it. I can stuff enough into the zipped bit on the carrier to get away with just pockets some of the time but it doesn't always look very comfortable for DS and is a pain to carry his bottle around!

I may have to look into the front pouch - or even investigate making my own bag thing like you did... I'm impressed!

What's the Ergo sling like to use? Thinking of getting one. I'm not very big and want a really comfy one. Read somewhere that the Ergo is much better for baby and parent posture..
