Hello I have the system from Argos with two screens and also comes with a game pad thing called Venturer (£130)I , so they find it really good, screens good size and tilt, also volume and on/off on each screen. Comes with remote for you which is dead handy all in all a good buy I think.

Hope that helps

the 7 inch one in argos is 79.99 just now.

We have one for DD for the back of the car, for long journeys. She has a 7 inch screen - was about £80 from Currys or Dixons IIRR. Bag for hanging on back of seat was another £20. Has remote control, etc. DD watches in the car without headphones and had not complained yet!

CC your link is £119.99?

charliecat · 28/02/2007 22:05

Ohh...It must have been a short offer, it was...loads of people on MSE got them, and I reserved one too at that price...hmm will investigate brb..

We bought a twin screen one in the jan sales and its great. I wish we had bitten the bullet and got one long ago! We bought a venturer as well (with tilt screens) DS1 and the DDs share 2 screens and they can all see. They are all terribly car sick and it seems to have helped as they face forward. I'm not sure what we will do next year when DS2 wants to watch as well but maybe we will buy another set we do alot of 5hr journeys to see mil and it had is easy now, they don't get to watch alot of tv at home so 3 dvds in one go is a treat!

Ah gutted i missed it at £7999 don't really want to pay anymore than that, would like one for the long journey to MIl & FIL's house for the kids, will wait & see if it goes down at all.

ScoobyDooooo · 28/02/2007 22:16

of course i ment £79.99 lol

charliecat · 28/02/2007 22:17

Well they werent selling for much more than that on ebay when I looked coz I reserved a few thinking there was money to be made.
BUT I did think maybe they werent selling because people where buying 5 inch screens thinking a 7 inch one was over what they wanted to be paying...take a look on ebay. Just in case.

NotanOtter · 28/02/2007 22:19
