Is that the one where you put your own high-lights on with a little brush?

pesme · 24/02/2007 18:17

yeh it is good

OK (just remembered this!)

Well...it's quite tricky to get the highlights on evenly - get someone to help you (a dh or dp will do at a push, but I enlisted my Mum a couple of times).

But my number 1, absolutely not to be deviated from EVER tip is...

Don't put on the highlights and then get distracted by MN and leave them on too long. I ended up with orange patches in my hair and had to go out, in a hat, to Boots the next morning and buy a darker colour to dye them out.

I've used it and it looks really good when its done.

My mum put the highlights in for me tho cos i couldn't do it myself

doormat · 24/02/2007 18:24

i do the hightlights myself, as i love experimenting with them

PhoenixGirl · 24/02/2007 18:28

Ooooo no, i'd make a mess of it if i attempted myself and i would never let dh loose with dye on my hair

doormat · 24/02/2007 18:29

lol pg i missed a bit on the back and had a big clog of it so dh sorted it out
he was shitting himself the poor man

pesme · 24/02/2007 18:46

thanks everyone, will have to break the news to dh that he is back on hair dyeing duty.
