IKEA slate & mattresses

Going to get a frame from there and now pondering the slats and mattresses.

Such a range in price.

Like a really solid firm bed. Anyone got mid range mattress or do you need to spend the £700 for it to be great??

I got mid range one, can't remember the name, (hyllestadt?). It's fine after a year, no lumpiness etc. It's too hard which is unfortunate. I would have taken advantage of their refund offer, but the alternative was too expensive.
