Following on from an earlier thread 'ELC-discount codes???' I thought it'll be good to share with everyone the codes i happen to have for various on-line shopping sites. I will also include the ones from the above mentioned thread.

La Redoute - £25 off + free P&P, no min. order value, CODE 1991

ELC - 10% off entire order, valid until 30 June 2004, CODE 24M

Vertbaudet - 20% off entire order, valid until 30 Sept 2004, CODE 6853

Ocado - £15 off first oreder over £75, CODE VOU7588427

Sainsbury's to You - £10 off first online order. I'm not using Sainsb. at present, but in the past I used similar codes for first orders with them although it was not my first time and they did work so hopefully taht still works. I have 2 different codes here:
D8RM-5K6E-NDVJ valid until 2 Aug 2004
24FA-DJ7R-E5VC valid until 30 Aug 2004

rumbled means 'found out' - what do you call it, can't think of another word at the mo

Branster · 30/06/2004 00:57

ahaaa. got it now. nothing like what i thought then

OP posts:
Flip · 30/06/2004 01:00

I thought rumbled was a northern expression.

tinyganghq · 30/06/2004 01:03

OMG Branster..what are you tryng to do to my bank balance! The PROMOD site is fantastic (love that denim jacket for £13).

Mumsnet is so addictive - not only can you spend hours gassing away, but now shopping and great bargains too. All I need now is someone to come round and do the irorning (that I should've been doing instead of this) and life will be complete.

charliecat · 30/06/2004 01:09

Wheres northern Flip. Lived in Scotland and England myself.

Branster · 30/06/2004 01:28

tinyganghq - i'm glad you like promod. i should say that i only bought tops from there but they are an exact fit (i buy s size) so if you want something not too tight get a bigger size, when it says 'fitted' here, it does mean tight

OP posts:
Flip · 30/06/2004 01:36

Northern is anywhere North of Birmingham

charliecat · 30/06/2004 01:37

Ah well Flip, it may be something I picked up from Scotland then!

tinyganghq · 30/06/2004 01:38

I find that with La R too Branster, and usually have to get a bigger size than UK clothes - think French fashion is on the small side. Come to think of it Vertbaudet can be a bit like that
with the childrens things.

taramac · 30/06/2004 01:45

Just wanted to check if people had actually received stuff using these codes - am still waiting on mine and can't quite believe its going to arrive!!

charliecat · 30/06/2004 01:46

I havent yet, waiting though, will let you know when i do, think people further down the thread have though.

Branster · 30/06/2004 01:48

i agree tinyganghq. my dd is not v big (just average) and when i get her stuff (especially tops) she needs a bigger size even if i follow the height measurements for her not the size they give. french kids must be v v slim. this reminds me of a really beautiful jacket i saw once in house of fraser for dd. it was just wonderful: a v nice shade of pink (like a rose pink) with a couple of zips and just pretty, it was in the sale, a size bigger than dd, tried it on, the zip wouldn't close because of her tummy. i thought it was ridicuous, especially as dd is so dainty (not skinny, but not as big as i want her to be), obviously her tummy is to big for her to be fashionable. i can guarantte no kid could have worn that particular jacket. ridiculous!

Branster · 30/06/2004 01:49

yes taramac, but not all of it yet

Branster..that's so annoying when that happens, especially when it's something you just know would've been perfect. I wonder sometimes what the children must look like that these 'average' measurements are based on!

Going from too small to too big though, my ds had a pair of shorts when he was around 9mths old that were always enormous on the waist. He's 2.5 now and out of interest (and for a laugh) I've tried them on him every Summer since he had them. Yep..still too big this year too (he's a slim little chap but not an unusual size, I don't think). You'd have to be Humpty Dumpty shaped to wear them - suppose they might fit when he's around 8! They were from H&M I think - nice clothes for children, just huge trousers. How weird

miggy · 30/06/2004 02:19

Thanks all-have duly used La redoute codes and Promod is fab-lovely monsoon type jewelery for £3-excellent. Thank you!

i don't think there are any codes for promod, it's just cheap to start with!

Branster · 30/06/2004 11:14

beetroot no codes for promod i'm afraid. they rarely have special offers because the prices are low anyway and their sales are v good value so they only sometimes offer free P&P if you spend over a certain amount of money.

OP posts:
Flip · 30/06/2004 11:20

Can you all get off Promod. I keep getting an error message saying there are to many people accessing the site at this time. So sod off!
