Following on from an earlier thread 'ELC-discount codes???' I thought it'll be good to share with everyone the codes i happen to have for various on-line shopping sites. I will also include the ones from the above mentioned thread.

La Redoute - £25 off + free P&P, no min. order value, CODE 1991

ELC - 10% off entire order, valid until 30 June 2004, CODE 24M

Vertbaudet - 20% off entire order, valid until 30 Sept 2004, CODE 6853

Ocado - £15 off first oreder over £75, CODE VOU7588427

Sainsbury's to You - £10 off first online order. I'm not using Sainsb. at present, but in the past I used similar codes for first orders with them although it was not my first time and they did work so hopefully taht still works. I have 2 different codes here:
D8RM-5K6E-NDVJ valid until 2 Aug 2004
24FA-DJ7R-E5VC valid until 30 Aug 2004

Ellen23 · 04/07/2004 18:25

NM1 code not valid for 20% off ELC. Any other suggestions. Thanks

CountessDracula · 04/07/2004 18:45

Just seen that La Redoute have taken 3 very small payments out on my card, so I guess they had everything and I should get it soon.

I just can't believe all this free shopping
Long may it continue!

Nothing here either. I did get a pack of free doughnuts with my Tesco delivery today though

marthamoo · 04/07/2004 19:32

Hoorah hoorah! My wedge heeled sandals arrived - and I love them!!!

I also emailed la Redoute and queried the charge on my exchanges - feel cheeky but I'm b*ggered if I'm paying £30!

Branster · 04/07/2004 19:35

i have been correctly charged for all my La Redoute orders in the last three days or so (a penny here and there). have not received all of them yet but must be on their way.
can't wait!

Pamina3 you don't have to pay full price for sale stuff but I have been overcharged on 2 orders but once I had spoken to them they are now refunding me.

Flip · 05/07/2004 13:48

I haven't received my redoute order and I ordered last Tuesday. How long does it normally take?

spacemonkey · 05/07/2004 13:49

I think if the stuff is in stock it takes 5-10 days for delivery. I placed my first order last Tuesday and received it yesterday. They seem to have charged me correctly too

bea · 05/07/2004 14:39

thought i might add this link into the mix as it has lots of goodies!

happy shopping!

tiamaria · 05/07/2004 15:17

Ellen23 - I just rang ELC (08705 352 352) and asked about your proposed purchase and whether Mumsnet would qualify the same as a playgroup discount card. The lady asked someone and came back and said yes, that Mumsnet would qualify and would get you a 10% discount. She also said that a sale may be coming up very soon. Does this help?

marthamoo · 05/07/2004 17:42

Pamina, yes, the code was valid against sale stuff.

I just got the parcel I ordered via my Mum and while I have been discounted a bit, it is not as much as it should be. She has been charged £66 on her card, when it should have been about a tenner. I am going to have to ring them....

spacemonkey · 05/07/2004 17:46

I got the rest of my stuff today. The skirt I ordered is fab but I ordered a bra slip and it is awful - poor quality and best described as a particularly nasty nylon tabard. I shall return it asap!

They've also overcharged me on that order - should've been 35p but somehow I've been charged £11

It's all gone a bit pear shaped

Have just been put through to a very unpleasant customer care person who informed me that the 8074 code I used was only valid on childrenswear (so why was it accepted on my other order? But of course I couldn't say that) and that it was very kind of them to let me use it at all. The other two codes were not valid as it was my "first order" (even though I placed three orders!) so the £30 discount has been spread over the four items I ordered.

I think they have got wise......

It's all going back

spacemonkey · 05/07/2004 17:54

even your lovely wedge sandals moo?

wobblyknicks · 05/07/2004 18:04

Argh - worried now - my stuff should be coming soon and I hope its all ok I used my very old account to pay for it, and I only keep about 30 quid in there to keep it ticking over so if they try to overcharge me much they can't - ha!!!

gothicmama · 05/07/2004 18:29

laredoute have put post and packing charge up to £3.45 also code 5436 has not worked on sale items altho has on new seasons childrens.

Branster · 05/07/2004 18:43

all orders have gone through but had to phone la redoute to try and rectify some problems:

  • placed one order using the £25 off for 2 sale items. i was charged the sale price because the code does not apply to sale prices. couldn't argue with that and i'm keeping them because i like the items and it was a fair price really -first £25 off order placed was fine and the code worked -1 order placed in dh name paid with my card for £30 off is fine and the discount was applied correctly. it was a full price item -1 item was missing from the parcel although i have been charged for it. it never happened before when i shopped with them. they appologised and will refund me for the item first, then send a new one charging me again so it does balance out in the end. -first order for another £25 off went through fine

anyway, i was really confused with all these parcels and all items from different orders mixed up, but when i worked it all out and spoke to them afterwards it seems fine.

all in all sale priced items cannot have any further reductions taken off and in my case were delivered and i was charged for them as above.

i'm still pleased with all i've got and won't be sending anything back. but won't be using teh codes anymore as it's too confusing for my simple mind.
