Electric blankets...how long do they take to warm up?

Could anyone recommend a single electric blanket that warms up quick, and has a decent heat please? I bought a Slumberdown one in the sale but it's so slow to warm up and when it has it's hardly what you would call warm, and it's on the highest setting! And it took an hour to warm up!! I have never owned one before so have no clue to how quickly they heat up and how warm they are meant to get so any input would be appreciated!!

I have a Ground Level I think it's called? It's amazing - takes about three minutes to heat up and has 2 settings.

It should have been £50 but I got it for £15 off Wowcher. I said to DP this morning, it's the best purchase all year! Grin

I have a dreamland intelliheat. Expensive but I love it. Heats up in 5 minutes, or will take the chill off in one minute. On full it's sweltering.
