Am sick of paying £25+ for 17 month old DS's shoes just because he has big wide feet (currently 5H!!!) Anyone know where I can get cheaper shoes from?

My dd has a H fit!! However, we went on Saturday to get her new shoes for school & the shops I tried said they had no school shoes in & would have none until July in time for the new school year in Sept!!

I never buy dd shoes unless clarkes or startrite, but my sister suggested barratts. We went there, her feet were measured for size, but the assistand said they don't do widths. Out of about 11 pairs of school shoes, just 3 were wide enough for her feet! But one of those 3 were a great fit on her!! Normally I wouldn't buy her shoes from anywhere except the 2 ahops I mentioned, but am very pleased at these shoes! & for just £12.99!!
