Online flower deliveries - who to use?

We want to send some flowers to a friend's parents to say thank you to them.

Anyone have any recommendations for good, reliable online flower deliveries? Doesn't have to be next day or anything.

It's a hard one - because people always say "oh thank you for the lovely flowers!" and you don't usually see them so you don't know if they are just being polite. I've used Interflora, M&S, Next and Tesco in the past. I did see the M&S ones and wasn't very impressed.

I've been on the receiving end of Interflora ones a few times and they've always been beautiful - they come from local florists so maybe it depends a little on the standard of your local Interflora florist though. Interflora is a little pricier than the other three I've mentioned.

Sorry, probably no help at all

Just looking at Interflora ones and they have some pretty seasonal arrangements. May go with them as there are some that look nice ont he website.

Interflora haven't let me down yet - any my mum sends me photos of the flowers, so I KNOW they're good!

I've used M&S loads over the while and have always been really pleased with the arrangements and that they last so long. Realise that this contradicts Marthamoo's experience, though, so is likely just to cause more confusion!

Sent an orchid from M&S to a friend and she was thrilled, said it was huge and came in a large box so no damage etc. Was also v prompt service. Interflora also good but does depend on the local florist they use, some better than others... John Lewis have some great flowers on line, have never used them but they are normally v reliable.
