I love my kia

It's the most reliable car I've ever had

It's 8 years old and got through its mot last week without even an advisory note

Quite fun to drive too -very nippy Grin

We love our skoda Grin

We've got a yeti rather than a rooms yet but they are all great cars. Always had great customer service and intending to trade in for another new one once it's 3 years old next summer.

Hmm one each (Thank you both)

I'm not going to win at this rate! Wink

The Skoda- they're great quality cars.

Lweji · 15/12/2016 12:57

Why do you like one and DH the other?
Just looks or more practical aspects?
How do they drive? Booth space? Leg room? Miles per gallon?

Lweji · 15/12/2016 13:01

Kia has topped a reliability list.

Kia Rio a little more reliable and cheaper to fix, according to this list.

I like the Kia look better too, but I'd be concerned about the booth space.

I like the bigger boot on the skoda & I think it looks quirky - there is way more leg room in the back if he is driving (always a problem normally)

The MPG is about the same as they are both automatics

DH likes the other one - it's red & has a stripe

One is Nov 14 the other Mar 15

TBH they are much of a muchness

The boot in the Roomster is enormous & we transport DD a lot with loads of luggage
& I learnt the registration plate without even trying Hmm & it's blue

I hate buying cars - it's up there with booking holidays in my 'jobs I hate too do' list

We had a Roomster now have a Yeti. When we changed cars we wanted a new one, rather than second hand, so had to get a Yeti as they don't make Roomsters anymore. Otherwise would have got a Roomster again.

Slightly more spacious than a Yeti. I too have a tall DH and DS is catching up fast. Plenty of leg room in the back when DH was driving. Boot was massive, again bigger than the Yeti. Large windows in the back. Loved my Roomster

I have a skoda ( different model) but it's fantastic. It's 8 years old and aside from wear and tear I've never had any problems with it. Parts are easy to get and cheap, so should any repairs be needed it doesn't cost a bomb.
Kia - driven a few and they always feel cheap to me. They do have a really good warranty tho - I think either 5 or 7 years which would make it tempting to me.

Thanks
I wish I could "outsource' these decisions
