Optimum age for Sylvanian Families

Hi. I recently bought a Sylvanian Families school and supermarket with extra accessories as a gift to share for my daughters 3 & 5. I am now wondering if they might be a little young to fully appreciate them and whether to put them away until next Christmas when they will be a bit older. Just looking for other people's experience / views on what age is the best age to get the most out of these toys? Thanks.

I think they're the perfect age for them. It's a good product to buy at a younger age as you can collect more bits over the years for them before they outgrow it.

I would say that the really fiddly bits might be a bit small for the 3yr old. But most other pieces should be suitable.
And as for outgrowing it, well i don't think there is an age as such, as long after they stop being played with they can be still be collected as a collectors item.
I still collect, although I mostly collect the vintage stuff...
