where did you get First bed and furniture?

We are about to move dd into big girls room and after bed and furniture. But i can only think of Mothercare and catalogues like GLTC, Vertbaudet. Any other places you would recommend? We had chest of drawers from Vertbaudet in the past and DH didnt like quality, so its returned. Would like good quality but we do not want splash too much money

we have some nice kids things from habitat - chest of drawers and wardrobe.

we got a very solid pine bed from argos
we painted it white

came with a choice of mattresses, various prices

i liked it so much i bought the same for dd2, hers is varnished to be different

bought little tables and chairs from ikea, and a chest of drawers

We shopped about when I was pg with Ds to try and find a reasonable priced white wardrobe and bought a really lovely one from Additions,it's absolutely perfect and was only £99.It's very well made,has 2 doors,a bottom shelf and 2 drawers at the bottom.
The bed we got recently is a pine coloured one from Mothercare and very low to the ground(toddler bed) and also wasn't expensive.We ended up paying more for the mattress.
