Hi all
We're about to get a SQ5 but serious dilemma over Monsoon Grey or glacier White. Our previous car was white...but as this is larger and as a family car wonder if white is just a bit too bling/look at me? I love white cars but perhaps in smaller models and also maybe not as a family car...would love thoughts.

I'd go with the grey. But that's because my preferred aesthetic is understated and I think white cars can look quite naff. Enjoy your new car!

White cars reminds me of storm troopers. And you can't mend scratches as well on a light coloured car. I'd go for a darker colour. White cars are going a bit out if fashion - we've just bought one and were offered same cars in white for a grand less than any other colour (even Guantanamo orange)!

Hope you got the lumbar support - Audis are called "owwww-dis" in our house.

Another one for grey here. Where I live I feel like EVERY car on the road is white Confused

originalmavis · 28/11/2016 08:56

And white shows the dirt more.

FreddoFrog · 28/11/2016 08:57

Grey! White cars are too like salesmen's cars

Grey. You will forever be cleaning a white car. We have owned white cars in the past and when they are dirty they just look awful.

Nospringflower · 28/11/2016 09:02

I like white - when they are clean they look posh in a way that grey ones never do!

NicknameUsed · 28/11/2016 09:28

I live in a rural area. A white car would stay clean as long as it stayed on the drive. As soon I drive anywhere it would just look grubby and not in the least bit posh.

KittensWithSuperpowers · 28/11/2016 09:29

Grey. Whites a bit wag

thegirlinthecar · 28/11/2016 09:31

Grey definitely

Graceflorrick · 28/11/2016 09:33

Manufacturers display new cars in white because it shows the model and looks good. I always buy white cars.

Bluntness100 · 28/11/2016 09:35

Grey for me too, I'd say white may damage the resale value as well as it's not a popular colour.

PotOfYoghurt · 28/11/2016 09:59

Grey. I think white cars look awful.

Loafingaround · 28/11/2016 15:55

Huge thanks all- grey it is Grin

Noooooo!

originalmavis · 28/11/2016 18:11

Anyone else spot the wee cat next to the white car?

RalphSteadmansEye · 28/11/2016 18:13

White cars are...horrible.

stumblymonkey · 28/11/2016 18:18

I would also go grey (because I love grey) unless the white one came with the cat next to it Grin

Girlwithnotattoos · 28/11/2016 18:18

Definitely grey it looks classy and expensive the white just looks a bit tacky. Plus White is usually the cheapest colour do you'll get more when you sell it on
