Does anyone have a Motorola V3 or V3 i ? Are they any good?

Obviously want a pink one, yes I know I am over a year late!! The V3i doesn't seem to come in pink though, is it much better than the V3? If so, how easy is it to change the fascias? I tried on my samsung e720 and gave up after about 1.5 hours!!

Personally I was really disappointed with the V3 and so was my dh and sister. They look great but they are rubbish for talking, they echo and sound quality is poor. Mine broke 12 months into the contract (fortunately was able to change at 12 months) but dh and sister's broke shortly before their 18 month contract expired!

I've got a v3 razr, so has dh and my best mate, we all love em and have had no problems with them

I work for a mobile fone operator, not a manufactuer so am not on commission... Its a good fone, with a good user interface. There isnt much difference IMO between the v3 and the v3i, maybe mp3 player?

Covers are easily changed and fairly cheap I think. HTH

Batteries are reported to be rubbish on them...so DP got the samsungversion whivh he really likes. Prob doesn't come in pink tho.

have had a Razr V3i and now have a V3IM.
Ok phones really, V3I broke 5months into contract so got it replaced with the V3IM. the difference between V3 and V£I is that the V3I has space for a sd card so you can add storage for camera and MP3. Personnally i wont be changing for another V3 or any Razr as i feel they are too fragile. The fascias are almost impossible to change on the V3I and when i tried to take the fascia off my broken V3I it actually broke and couldnt be used again. If pink is that important then go for the V3.

I have a V3 razr - it has an irritating habit of turning itself off - or going dead - and I have to take the battery or the SIM out and replace it to get it going again.
