need a catchy business name

An old school friend and I have set up a small business together and we need a name. This is proving more difficult than anything else so far!

Basically we do fundraisers for charities schools etc. We sell jewelery (mostly pearls), pashminas, polo shirts....that sort of thing. We go to peoples homes for a small sale and then donate a percentage of our proceedes for the day to their charity or we have a stall in a garden party type set up ....school hall etc.

We want something fun and catchy ....despite both being pretty creative we have an absolute block.

Any clever ideas?? thank you Mumsnetters!

i quite like 'Charity Begins' you know. and then you could have 'charity begins... with beautiful pearls' '...with sporty polo shirts' etc etc etc for your branding.

AitchTwoOh · 14/02/2007 01:38

and the .co.uk name is still available, it looks like.

fairyfly · 14/02/2007 01:44

pearls of wisdom and charity begins sound sooooooo foppish, i wouldn't even look at the website, they would sound like twattish pages that send mooncups to starving children

nappyaddict · 14/02/2007 01:52

these are crap but .. its good to care or its good to share?

nappyaddict · 14/02/2007 01:55

friend says aim high, aim for the sky??? and for those in the need or a hand for those in need, but that might be too long. he said you could have a hand as your logo though?

pmsl at 'mooncups to starving children'... you do realise they're not actually cups, don't you? they'd not hold much soup.

Mhamai · 14/02/2007 02:20

How about, "We put the Fun in FUNdraising"
Sorry it's late but it's all I could think of.

AitchTwoOh · 14/02/2007 02:25

soooooooooooo foppish mhamai, sounds like the sort of twats who'd send female sanitary products to the hungry of Africa.

Mhamai · 14/02/2007 02:27

Oh fark off

AitchTwoOh · 14/02/2007 02:32

what are we doing up at this time, mhamai?

Mhamai · 14/02/2007 02:35

Well they are mostly selling pearls, polo shirts and pashminas and such so that logo might well be more appropriate than you think, as opposed to "Give us your bloody wanga" How about "Show us the money" Ok I'll get my coat.

Ps
Aitch, will you have a quick deco at my thread over on depressed, feel I might have posted before thinking. (Nothig new there) Just dreding the backlash, that's if anyone bothers to respond.
