Best toy we've got and has been since Christmas. Got it when ds1 was 3.5 and am about to give him some extra pirates for his birthday (4 today). He loves it.

DS has one. To begin with I was a bit dubious about it and wished I had succumbed to the Playmobil plastic one, as the ELC wooden one keeps coming apart. However, watching DS, almost 3, play with it, I realise that constant shipwrecks in which all the sails come off etc is a crucial part of the excitement, as is re-constructing it. And it looks LOVELY on his shelf. Think it will last longer too, as the bloodthirsty pirates are more to the taste of a 5 year-old than the rather cartoonic playmobil ones!
