Recommend a phone for a grandparent?

My mum needs a phone. It will be her first one, but she's reasonable with technology. Can anyone recommend a budget android for under £100 that isn't too big that she might get on with. It will be mainly for calls, texts, WhatsApp, occasional photo and Internet browsing very occasionally. Sim free... Happy to buy second hand. Am I asking too much! Cheers!

Argos currently have the Doro 820 mini smartphone on offer at just under £100.00. Their phones are designed for 'seniors' and to be easy to use. My elderly parents have Doro basic phones and love them - I believe their smartphones are similarly straightforward to use.

fancy is that the liberto 820 mini? I assume so. It looks pretty good.

Does any one else have any suggestions?
