Anyone ever used a Stepper?

I am really in need of a tone to my thighs and buttocks after a very indulgent Christmas. I have been looking at getting a stepper as it seems to be the only bit of exercise I can do quickly without having to leave the house and having to find a baby sitter to go to the local gym.

Has anyone used one before? And would you recommend one?

yes they are good but nothing beats a rowing machine for burning off calories and fat all around the body. Depends how much space you have I suppose. Have you seen the big gym balls advertised? I have been using one that comes off the tv with a dvd for you to do on the living room floor, can be really fun and works you much harder than a gym session.

Thanks incy, I actually went and ordered that one last night, so it is nice to hear it is very good. I look forward to using it when it arrived.

ok, I looked at the link, can you let me know how it goes, I saw that one advertised on TV and it looks like it will really burn some fat. Incy how have your found it? I am using a gym ball and have cancelled my gym contract. I need to do more cardio but I have limited space, how well does it work? I would like to get one but I will probably have to fight DS off of it to get to use it! I already have a problem fighting for the fit ball!

as you use the stepper, you use the cords to work your arms and chest area, it comes with a dvd to get you into a routine

prettymum · 12/02/2007 13:58

you have to pull the cords
