Help, I'm swamped with product brochures for a new washing machine, condenser dryer and fridge freezer...has anyone had a Zanussi washer? Any good. What about Hotpoint fridge freezers. Any reviews gratefully received!

I've had my Zanussi washer for nearly 9 years and the only thing to go wrong (am I tempting fate here ?) has been a broken door fastener, which cost about £30 to have replaced. It washes well and was a water efficient model at the time.

I've also got a Zanussi fridge-freezer (13 years old), a Zanussi fridge (9) and a Zanussi tumble dryer (12, new heating element in guarantee period) but my 9 year old Zanussi dishwasher has recently given up.

Had a creda tumble dryer that went for 14 years it was my mums before mine. And a lec fridge which was about 14 years, but thats died since. I now have a zanuzzi fridge and chest freezer, they are brill. Ithink electulux are zanuzzi, sorry can 't spell today.

I have one of the new Zanussi washing machines and its brilliant. I have had Hotpoint for years but after having problems with the last two (last one of which was only 18 mths old when it had to be replaced) I decided to opt for a Zanussi. It is so much quieter you wouldnt believe it and the wash is great, plus loads of options to chose from.

We bought a Zanussi Jetsystem when it was quite newly launched almost 14 years ago. It is still going strong (as far as we know!) and don't recall ever having to have it repaired. We had a Hotpoint fridge/freezer for 10 years before passing it on to a charity when we realised we needed one with a bigger freezer section. Again had never had a problem with it. Bought a really nice Bosch one but only got to use it a few months before moving - now 3 yrs old and so far so good.

Currently have a Bosch washer and Bosch condensor dryer. Don't think I'd choose to have a condensor over conventional unless circumstances don't allow for venting.
