I have a little toddler and I leave him on it all the time... It's called YouChube. It's basically a children's version of YouTube. It locks the screen's touchscreen so the kids can't close the video themselves.. sometimes I put videos on for like 30 minutes and I just watch him singing along to it!

You can do this on iPads and iPhones using "Guided Access". You draw over parts (or all) of the screen to block off buttons and stuff, then you can override this with a code.
