Help with that Hot Wheels track you hang off a door, how the devil does it fit together?

We were given on without the box, dh is out with ds1 and ds2 wants me to assemble it but I am a first class donkey and can't make the orange tracks fit on to that uniquely shaped red bit that goes at the top.

Help me!
