So a few weeks on from Christmas - which Nintendo DS games do your kids love?

DD has birthday money to spend. Wants a game but I would love a recommendation. £25 is a lot to waste on a dud game.

My DD is 8. She loves the Sims Pets game, the Marioworld game, and Nintendogs.

Any good games to recommend?

animal crossing - so sweet an unagressive. My ds7 loves it and he is so proud of the things he has done to his house etc.

my ds has a scooby doo one which he and my dd (8) both love and play a lot.
we've also got happy feet which they don't rate at all so don't waste your money on that one.

if she loves the nintendogs she's got, you could get her another one - the dalmation and labrador ones are apparently much better than the pekinese one

well dd had nintendogs and bratz, I had supermario and brain training, she has only played with mine - taking bratz to shops today to exchange. Supermario is king in this house.

She bought Zoo Tycoon in the end! Her friend has Mario so we decided not to get that an have a swap instead!

DONT GET HER ANOTHER NINTENDOGS! THEY ARE ALL THE SAME YOU EVENUTALLY GET ALL THE BREEDS!

dd1 only has nintendogs but loves it

Super Mario Kart is one of the best I have seen - really really good fun and apparently up to 8 other kids can play at the same time (with only one copy of game)

am buying it for dd1 next month

So the verdict on Zoo Tycoon -- DD and DH have had their heads together building the zoo and loving it!! I had to wrestle it off them yesterday after about five hours! We've been out all day so she hasn't played it again but is back on it now with DH and it seems to be a big hit!

DD loves Nintendogs too. We haven't bought anymore as yet - have told her that she has to save her pocket money or wait for her birthday now.
She managed to borrow a Spiderman Gameboy game from her friend at school today and seems to loving that at the moment.
