Ikea push along cart - the blue one...anyone selling one or know where to get something similar?

I was all set to buy one for my DSs 1st birthday, but just went on the ikea site and they seem to be gone

Has anyone seen them recently at ikea? Or is anyone selling one? Or has anyone seen something similar? (I don't want one of those ones filled with blocks, as we have loads of blocks and I'm after something more robust)

They look a bit like this only more basic and not as expensive!

Thanks

We have one of these without the bricks (dd2 would want to keep those) if you're interested.

Tooticky, I may be. I'm particularly after something with big robust wheels for him to push around the park (as his big sister pushes her dollies buggy around a lot), but I'm not sure I will be able to find such a thing within our budget! Could I let you know in a couple of days? Obviously if someone else wants to buy between now and then, you should sell to them.

Aprox what price were you thinking?

No prob. Really, you want something that swivels a bit I suppose - these wheels don't do corners easily. Have you considered a dog on wheels? Dd1 had one and it has been loved so much. Doesn't swivel but easier than the average cart/walker thingummy. (£7.50 if you are interested).

I'm going shopping at IKEA (the Croydon one) sometime next week (probably wednesday). If you want I can get you one - I'm working there tonight, so I can pop into childrens and check if we've got any. Not sure what the P&P would be like though. Where are you?

SoupDragon · 09/02/2007 14:09

There were quite a few on Wednesday, Serenity

serenity · 09/02/2007 14:12

Well, I'll avoid that section tonight then too ruddy chaotic anyway, lots of hyper kids who should be in bed!

Astrophe · 09/02/2007 14:29

I'm in Derby. Thanks, you are v kind. I guess if they have them in Croyden I should call Nottingham and ask them really - its just they they used to be on the website but I couldn't see them anymore.

Those push along dogs are v cute too!
