Need car or train advice on pressy for my toddler!!!

I want to get my 16 month old son a present for when his new baby sister is born. We are moving abroard soon after the birth and as all our stuff will have been shipped the pressy needs to be small so that it won't take up much space in our luggage for the plane. He is Car, Truck and Train crazy and so I thought about getting him something train or truck related as he has quite a few cars already. He has started to get into Thomas the tank engine and so thought about that. Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated as i am finding it tricky to go shopping as i am 36 weeks pregnant and packing up my house! Stess is my middle name at the mo! Cheers.

what about the small thomas engines, teh wooden ones? They are small and you can buy him teh train tracks etc for birthdays

ELC do a fold out train mat with track and trains included-I am not describing it very well but it folds up inot a briefcase shape and isn't too heavy or bulky-my dd loves hers and we bought it when she was 16mts.

I know it says age 3-6 but my dd loves hers and is not yet 2.

that track is nice - and it is compatible with the wooden thomas trains too, so you can add to it.

we already have 2 thomas trains so that would be perfect
