Please let me know your address so I can reimburse your postage costs!

glad it went down well!

No reimbursement necessary - stick equivalent in the next charity box you see.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/02/2007 10:28

(She prefers payment in prunes, imo and ime.

MrsB, I will send on that book about syphillis, have been rubbish about posting things, owe packages to a bunch of MNers, whoops.)

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 10:30

no worries NQC
and it was only your prunes I was after
am now deeply buried in serious lit on Thrombophilia And Pg Outcome so syphilis would be a welcome relief...

NotQuiteCockney · 09/02/2007 10:32

Is the Thrombophilia stuff about your pg? (Congrats, by the way!) Is that bad vein things? Or what?

I have decided I need to start reading the Churchlands, which will annoy the ex who's been mentioning them to me in ages ... what can I say, the New Yorker sells them better than he does

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 10:35

yes it's me - it's 'tendency to clot'. Had a most unsatisfactory appt at the High Risk pg unit yesterday where they told me less than nothing and made me feel like a fool - irate thread here - so am girding my loins for some proper research.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/02/2007 10:37

Oh god, there's nothing so frustrating as dealing with medical 'professionals' that are less knowledgeable than the patient, and not dealing with it well.

misdee · 09/02/2007 10:40

Thank You Mrs badger as well from my girls. check my profile for their thank you picture.

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 10:43

excellent pic misdee, glad they like them!

Bozza · 09/02/2007 13:14

And thank you from DD and me too Mrs Badger. The parcel was delivered yesterday but we were out, so I collected it today. I love those roller skates!

Are you sure about the reimbursement? It must have cost you quite a bit to send out to everyone.

Anyway thanks again. [

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 13:20

I'm sure Bozza - do the charity tin thing.

It would have cost me more to pay to put them in storage, whihc was the other option - once I'd got them all lined up and brushed their hair I really couldn't bear to put them in the bin...

Bozza · 09/02/2007 13:31

LOL at you brushing the hair. I did notice the tail was all neatly tucked between it's legs.

cupcakes · 09/02/2007 13:32

will do the charity pot thing then.
dd has been playing with them all morning. She is particularly taken with the baby one.

misdee: ROFL at you having a pic of a pram!

MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 13:37

DH came home the other day and said 'Where are you?' I said 'I'm upstairs' and he said 'Are you still playing with those ponies?'

misdee · 09/02/2007 13:42

mrsbadgers, these are the original ponies arent they. when dd's opened them, my own eyes lit up, as i had a bow-tie when i was a child.

their manes were very neatly brushed, and i love the box they came in.

and of course i have a pic of a pushchair, but thats not just any puhchair, thats the new lulu guiness 'bed of roses' maclaren quest. which i am lusting over for its girlyness.

cupcakes · 09/02/2007 13:44

they've made me very nostalgic - they're proper old school ponies. My sister had that yellow raincoat when she was younger.

cupcakes · 09/02/2007 13:45

I had Apple Jack and two who I think were Butterscotch and Cotton Candy.

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 09/02/2007 13:47

Oh yes, they're original first generation ponies - I had a nostalgic wallow myself as I packed them up.

No value at all on ebay though

misdee · 09/02/2007 13:49

lol, they wont be going on ebay. dh said to me 'why didnt you keep all yoours' well apart from the fact they were split between 3 of us, as a child i didnt think of keeping them for my own children.

they are very well looked after mrsB, my ponies hair always got matted lol.

Bozza · 09/02/2007 18:14

I love doing pony's hiar - so much more likely to get a decent result than on DD.
